While completing my internships with PwC and Axiom Consulting, I got the opportunity to apply my data analytics skills and collaborate with experienced consultants. Apart from this, one would often find me watching a Formula One race, playing the ukulele or at a table-tennis play-off. In addition to being a student ambassador, I am delighted to contribute to the Entrepreneurship Club as a member of the Launchpad Operations and Marketing Executive Committee. The MAM programme at LBS proved to be a good fit in my career roadmap and helped align my academic, personal and professional aspirations. ![]() Sincere, quick-to-learn and passionate about developing new and innovative products, I was keen on pursuing a course that laid at the intersection of statistics, business and technology. Post my Bachelors degree, I helped grow my family business and worked with two technology startups. Like many others, graduating amidst a pandemic drastically altered my career plans, and left me with rescinded job offers and the urge to up-skill myself for the world out there. During my studies, I undertook a corporate internship, held two leadership positions in college that helped me discover my true interests, and I decided to contribute, learn and build my career in the startup space. While at one of the Big Four consultancies, I helped analyse the reporting and managing structure of a medtech startup and built their financial statements consolidation system from scratch. During my time with an Asia-focused consultancy, I was able to help one of the oil giants plan their market entry strategy into China’s electric vehicle charging market. Most importantly, I developed my passion for consulting while interning at two consultancies. I also led the UCL CONNECT volunteering project and contributed over 200 hours of Mandarin tutoring sessions with my team in a North London school. During my undergraduate time, I worked as a consulting executive for UCL Business Society and organised many consulting-oriented events and case competitions on campus. Unfortunately, COVID came up right before my graduation and I decided to take a gap year. I studied Economics at University College London, where I developed the most important part of my life philosophy – Constrained Optimisation. What I didn’t expect though, was how helpful and genuinely supportive everyone is, from my peers, to the professors who want us to succeed, and lastly to the incredible Career Centre which is there at every step of your journey. ![]() The MAM at London Business School seemed like the ideal place to learn these skills, with its academic excellence and its location in London, the place to be for European tech and startups. Data is the language of the next decade, and people from all industries can benefit from becoming fluent in this language. However, I felt that I lacked some crucial hard skills in programming languages and other data-related skills, even if I knew that I’m not going to pursue a career in a very technical area. This is where I discovered a passion for technology and data. I was fortunate enough to intern at four prominent firms in EdTech, data management, private equity and advertising. There, I was part of the university’s Marketing Association, where I led the organisation of case competitions and other events. About me: I grew up in Brussels, Belgium, in a Belgian-Italian family, and completed my undergraduate degree in Business Administration at ESADE Business School in Barcelona.
